CHANGE NOTICE: Partnership Meeting - April 19th

QUICK NOTE: If you have made hotel reservation for NCTC the night of April 19th you will need to call to CANCEL (it's not automatic). But, if you are a 'commuter' please can join for a 1-day meeting (to allow you to commute in w/o staying overnight), April 19th (10-3:30) at NCTC - reserved classroom 107IE for the 19th.
The meeting will take place both in-person and WITH A PHONE BRIDGE phone line & URL.(see below).NOTE: Dr. Maddie Brown will still be giving her Research Results Presentation (based on Partner interview survey) at 1:00 on the 19th; please plan to join that session URL.
BACK STORY: Given the limited number of partners that can attend this April meeting in-person, and the low number of State representation, the Planning Team has recommended that we CHANGE our proposed in-person meeting for the 19th and 20th as a combination of
A. schedule a call/series of partner calls (between April 9th - 18th) to discuss:
Q. What is the Partnership's request to FWS-R5 of the FY18 budget (previously to support the AppLCC/geography)
Q. What (funding) mechanism can we use?
Q. Follow-up on Dec Work Group tasks
- Staffing/Position Description
- "Resolution" of "Statement of Commitment"
- address the need to establish a sustainable funding base
B. April 19th - in-person and teleconference meeting 10:00-3:30 -- Brainstorming Session (ahead of a Partnership meeting TBD in late/spring, summer).

Q. What's needed to move forward in general in advancing Landscape Conservation Collaboration?
BUILDING THE PARTNERSHIP:
Q. How do we engage the States?
Q. How do we build the Partnership?
