Stream Impacts from Water Withdrawals in Marcellus Shale Region
New research is providing information to help resource managers, industry and others make informed decisions in achieving sustainable river and stream flows that balance the needs of society and healthy ecosystems.
2015 Annual Report
Detailing the investment the LCC has
made over the past years leading
to the creation of research products,
tools, and a landscape conservation
design framework to address the
most pressing science needs.
New Clearinghouse for Ecosystem Benefits and Risks Information
The Appalachian LCC and the U.S. Forest Service recently released a wealth of data, maps, and other products assessing benefits of and risks to the region's ecosystem services, providing regional resources and tools for incorporating natural assets valued by society into planning and management decisions.
Our Guiding Principles
Working at a landscape-level, engaging
a diversity of partners, and leveraging
resources to chart a more sustainable
path forward.
About the Appalachian LCC
